Bjork & E-40

E-40 and Droop-E collaborate with Bjork for a track on E-40’s new album, Revenue Retrievin.

No, this isn’t an april fool. The Droop-E produced Spend The Night on the Night Shift half of Revenue Retrieven predominantly consists of samples taken from Bjork’s Medulla, the unfortunately disappointing, entirely acapella album that was in turn a collaboration in part with Faith No More’s Mike Pattern. The samples were cleared by Bjork, who was very happy with the outcome of the track. The result is a pretty sick tune, check it out.

Björk and the rap industry have crossed paths more than once in the past. She’s worked with RZA before and Timbaland contributed production and ideas for Bjork’s most recent offering Vespula. Timbaland has previous said that Bjork’s Joga is his all time favourite song, and has sampled it at various levels of subtly through out his production career.
