Ramadanman

Diskotopia favourite, Ramadanman is releasing a new vinyl double-pack EP on Hessle Audio early next month.

Following in the recent double-pack dubstep trend, the Ramadanman double pack is due for release on April 5, featuring six new tracks, amongst them ‘No Swing’, a regular in Untold’s record box, and ‘Bleeper’, which Ramadanman has been prominently slipping into his recent DJ sets. Ramadanman’s trademark high-end timbale and woodblock percussion features heavily on ‘A Couple More Years’, ‘I Beg You’ and ‘Tumble’ which doubles this with live drums. The EP is rounded off by an all-out synth epic, ‘Don’t Change for Me’, which will find favour with fans of Ikonika.

Full tracklist:

  1. I Beg You
  2. No Swing
  3. Tumble
  4. A Couple More Years
  5. Bleeper
  6. Don’t Change For Me

Having focused his attention on dubstep in 2006, prior to this forthcoming release, David ‘Ramadanman’ Kennedy has racked up a number of critically acclaimed releases on a diverse selection of labels including Soul Jazz, Tempa, Aus, Critical Music, Apple Pips and Hessle Audio, (which he co-runs with Pangaea and Ben UFO).
